Costumes, being naked and Japanese fashion designers

Hey guys! Didn't go out this week, being swamped with school work. It's term four and therefore customary to throw schoolwork at us poor students, when they could have just spread the work out evenly throughout the year. However, I do go to Saturday school (to learn Vietnamese) and there's no uniform regulations there (other than wear clothes as opposed to costumes, or nothing at all) so this is what I'm going to show today.

•Ladakh singlet
•Valleygirl jacket
•Bettina Liano pants
•Mickey Mouse converse style shoes from market <3 •Birds Necklace from market

Japanese designers I love;; <3<3

REI KAWAKUBO

Oh crap, i LOVE chains, buttons, shiny SILVER things on dark fabrics *sob* seriously, I can't tear my eyes off this delicious image (': *bows at Kawakubo-sama's feet*

H. NAOTO

And this guy as well, h.naoto;; J-rock and gothic Lolita style is instant love for me. I WANT THOSE SHOES AND HAT SO BAD D:< But of course, I'll have to stick with my bi weekly hunt through the market (and I don't think anyone's gonna be selling h.naoto shoes or Rei Kawakubo designs). Oh well. See you guys next time!  Oh, and speaking of time, I got a new clock for my room! It's beautiful, and I'll post pics next blog~~ Ps. Does any of you guys read Bleach? I'm dying to find out what happens and Kubo's two week hiatus isn't helping the situation. Do you think the series is over? I sincerely hope it isn't, because it's my first love, in terms of shounen manga.

A busy week *dies*

Well, I was gonna post a few days ago, but considering the lineup of stuff I had to do, I decided to put all in one neat, little blog.
Before I start, though, the weather's been absolutely CRAP these days! I was really Annoyed, because when I wanted to wear high waisted shorts, I had to substitute them for skinny jeans. D:< That's all.
Monday. A bunch of homework! It doesn't sound like I did much, but knowing all the stuff I was gonna do AFTER Monday, I decided to do all the homework that I had gotten for this week so far, as opposed to doing the day before it's due.

Tuesday- Karate! I have karate every Tuesday and Thursday. It ALSO doesn't sound like much, but o go to bed straight after I get home (9:30-ish) so that doesn't leave a lot of time for the homework that I get thrown at me. I love karate though <3

Wednesday- arts festival! I attended an arts festival at a local high school with some of my friends. The art was great, the drama performances were funny (albeit a little hard to understand) and best of all, the fashion parade at the end! The fashion students at the school were really creative; there was a Little Red Riding Hood inspired one, but instead of doing  Little Red Riding Hood, the student made an piece inspired by the wolf! It was brown, and cinched at the waist with a thin piece of brown string. Most interesting, though, was the hood. It was brown (of course), and furry! It was an interesting combo, the dress and the fur hood. I found the dress to be a little to peasant looking for my taste, to be honest, but it really depicted the wolf well, and it was the one that stuck in my mind best.
There was also a bright orange jumpsuit... It was well cut and it seemed to fit the model perfectly (who was AT LEAST near 2 metres tall), but the overall impression was "oh, it's... an orange jumpsuit." It makes me wonder whether the crowd would have cheered so loudly if it were not for the model, who also belonged to that college.
Next was a party dress type, which was a bit more wearable,  if you're gonna conform to social norms. And to be completely honest, I'd prefer to wear this dress over the wolf one or the jumpsuit. But that's just me. Also, there was a but of lace at the bottom, and I'm a sucker for lace. I couldn't resist... Well, loving this dress! (: anyway, the dress was black, cinched at the waist at strapless. Fun and cute, but perhaps not as inventive as all the others.
Another dress was ling, and the colour palette was... I don't know how to describe it, so I'll just tell you that it was purple and green. Of the metallic persuasion. It actually wasn't too bad, but just above the ankle, some tulle was fanned out, and I can't stand that kind of thing. Like when a dress is really nice and slinky but then towards the bottom, some kind of soft fabric (tulle in most case) fans right out. And that, in turn, turns ME right off the dress. Which was unfortunate, because the top 90% wasn't really that bad. But would have chosen a metallic purple with a normal grey, if I was gonna stick to the metallic thing.
That's actually all I can remember of the outfits (there were t least another 3 more), but the overall impression was inventive and well thought out. Nice work guys! (:

Thursday- see TUESDAY

Friday- off to a karate get together! We usually have a 'ball' with the whole organization, but this year we couldn't book a venue, so we just had a get together with the people in our area. It was actually pretty fun, and I made friends which is a relief because I didn't feel all that comfortable in a class of people who've all known each other for years. But that was before the party, and now we're all good (: I'm actually really happy about that, because even though I've only been going 2 months, it's usually easy for me to make friends, and when it was harder for me, I started to get worried. BLAH!
Saturday- today, that is. I'm going over to my grandmas place with the rest of my family to remember my great uncle. It's going to be a LITTLE squishy, because when I say 'place', I mean 'apartment', and when I say 'family', I mean 'ASIAN family', which means MASSIVE. but I'm looking forward to seeing my cousins, because they live so far away so I don't get to see them that often.

What i wore on Friday;;

+Forever New top
+Hipster skinny jeans
+Kookai belt

I have to say, that belt was MADE for those jeans (but not technically).

And I think I've reached the end. Oops, this blog wasn't do 'little' after all (: thanks for the stamina required to read this far, guys!

Let's Do Nothing (with friends)

So school holidays are over an we're back at school D:< oh noes. Anyway, we decided to get together on Wednesday (being the middle of the week and therefore being a day completely illogical to go out on) and hang at one of my firend's place and DO NOTHING WHATSOEVER. But its not about what you do, it's about who you do it with *daww* or in this case, it's about what you're wearing.

What I'm wearing;;
>>Toy Chair Shirt dress
>>Tartan bow (from market, and unfortunately it doesnt have a label...)
>>Custom made necklace;; my friend's mum made it for me and therefore it's the ONLY ONE in the world D:< OMG.
>>And Hi-Definition shoes
And my hair which i just got cut that i love.

Also, if you totally love that necklace, maybe comment (or follow haha) and maybee we can work something out ;)

!TheFashionScheme

!TheFashionSceme

Sup gee, I'm Mary (:
I like art (LOVE art), fashion, manga, Japanese culture, and good hair.
In all honesty, I'm supposed to be doing my math homework, then my science homework, and THEN my art homework (luckily not a drag)  but INSTEAD I'm blogging off my iPod touch =w="

•The temperature T on the ski slopes t hours after midday is given by T=2-0.5t.•

In one word, I am arty (in that I love art, not that I'm a pro). Anyone that knows me would describe me that way, including the family friends, close friends and the bitch down the school hall that rags on my hair.

•What is the temperature at midday and what is the temperature at 4pm?•

Second of all, I am obsessed with hair. Not any hair of course, but good hair. Not 'good' by my personal standards, but good in that the cut matches the person. This is not the match that is the fad, the trend, the 'norm'. Nice try though.

•Find the temperature at 6pm.•

Next, fashion. Ahh, fashion. I love pretty much everything about it. You can express yourself, you can stare constantly at the mess of a wardrobe filled with shit you love, and you can revel in the meteor-hit-my-room mess when you're getting ready for a big night for which you forgot to plan what you were gonna wear. Or even better, didn't know what the dress code was. Yep, I love pretty much everything about it but the fact that there are those who, because of their narrow-mindedness, rag on others' fashion sense. It's not fashion if you're not expressing yourself, it's simply "covering your body to conform to the social norms". So there.

•According to the diagram, when will the temperature drop to -3 degrees celsius?•

Manga gasuki desu!! I really do love manga. In fact, I was the start of my whole art loving thing. Back in the day (and by that, I mean year 7) I attended a manga drawing class with my best friend. We only learnt basics, just a front view of a face. But after that, I went on a drawing frenzy (so to speak). Day after day I improved, and here I am, years later, going down a path that caters directly to two of my obsessions (and indirectly to the rest)- fashion design! Thanks a lot, manga.

•Comment on how realistic the diagram is•

And last but not least -NOT least- Japanese culture. Best thing eveerrrrr D:< Really, the fashion, the pretty lights, the everything. It's the best and I am taking a trip into the future in the future, when I have enough money (and enough age). Peace!

And I think I've just finished my maths homework. Women multitasking power :O if you're a guy that can do that wondrous thing, comment :P. Next blog I'll post pics of what I wore in the week and info on where I live (just kidding). But I'll do the photos part (: what do you guys want me to do?
