A busy week *dies*

Well, I was gonna post a few days ago, but considering the lineup of stuff I had to do, I decided to put all in one neat, little blog.
Before I start, though, the weather's been absolutely CRAP these days! I was really Annoyed, because when I wanted to wear high waisted shorts, I had to substitute them for skinny jeans. D:< That's all.
Monday. A bunch of homework! It doesn't sound like I did much, but knowing all the stuff I was gonna do AFTER Monday, I decided to do all the homework that I had gotten for this week so far, as opposed to doing the day before it's due.

Tuesday- Karate! I have karate every Tuesday and Thursday. It ALSO doesn't sound like much, but o go to bed straight after I get home (9:30-ish) so that doesn't leave a lot of time for the homework that I get thrown at me. I love karate though <3

Wednesday- arts festival! I attended an arts festival at a local high school with some of my friends. The art was great, the drama performances were funny (albeit a little hard to understand) and best of all, the fashion parade at the end! The fashion students at the school were really creative; there was a Little Red Riding Hood inspired one, but instead of doing  Little Red Riding Hood, the student made an piece inspired by the wolf! It was brown, and cinched at the waist with a thin piece of brown string. Most interesting, though, was the hood. It was brown (of course), and furry! It was an interesting combo, the dress and the fur hood. I found the dress to be a little to peasant looking for my taste, to be honest, but it really depicted the wolf well, and it was the one that stuck in my mind best.
There was also a bright orange jumpsuit... It was well cut and it seemed to fit the model perfectly (who was AT LEAST near 2 metres tall), but the overall impression was "oh, it's... an orange jumpsuit." It makes me wonder whether the crowd would have cheered so loudly if it were not for the model, who also belonged to that college.
Next was a party dress type, which was a bit more wearable,  if you're gonna conform to social norms. And to be completely honest, I'd prefer to wear this dress over the wolf one or the jumpsuit. But that's just me. Also, there was a but of lace at the bottom, and I'm a sucker for lace. I couldn't resist... Well, loving this dress! (: anyway, the dress was black, cinched at the waist at strapless. Fun and cute, but perhaps not as inventive as all the others.
Another dress was ling, and the colour palette was... I don't know how to describe it, so I'll just tell you that it was purple and green. Of the metallic persuasion. It actually wasn't too bad, but just above the ankle, some tulle was fanned out, and I can't stand that kind of thing. Like when a dress is really nice and slinky but then towards the bottom, some kind of soft fabric (tulle in most case) fans right out. And that, in turn, turns ME right off the dress. Which was unfortunate, because the top 90% wasn't really that bad. But would have chosen a metallic purple with a normal grey, if I was gonna stick to the metallic thing.
That's actually all I can remember of the outfits (there were t least another 3 more), but the overall impression was inventive and well thought out. Nice work guys! (:

Thursday- see TUESDAY

Friday- off to a karate get together! We usually have a 'ball' with the whole organization, but this year we couldn't book a venue, so we just had a get together with the people in our area. It was actually pretty fun, and I made friends which is a relief because I didn't feel all that comfortable in a class of people who've all known each other for years. But that was before the party, and now we're all good (: I'm actually really happy about that, because even though I've only been going 2 months, it's usually easy for me to make friends, and when it was harder for me, I started to get worried. BLAH!
Saturday- today, that is. I'm going over to my grandmas place with the rest of my family to remember my great uncle. It's going to be a LITTLE squishy, because when I say 'place', I mean 'apartment', and when I say 'family', I mean 'ASIAN family', which means MASSIVE. but I'm looking forward to seeing my cousins, because they live so far away so I don't get to see them that often.

What i wore on Friday;;

+Forever New top
+Hipster skinny jeans
+Kookai belt

I have to say, that belt was MADE for those jeans (but not technically).

And I think I've reached the end. Oops, this blog wasn't do 'little' after all (: thanks for the stamina required to read this far, guys!
